»Symmetries« is Valentin Hirsch’s first monographic book. It draws a connection between tattooing and fine art. The book’s minimalistic design gives the reader space to experience the artworks. It shows his transition from paper to skin and presents tattooing in the context of art. With an essay by Gunter Damisch and an interview with the artist by Uta Grosenick.
